Friday Night Added to LGR Schedule! By Dale R. Erdmann

(Lake Geneva, Wis.,  August 29, 2006)-  Because of five rain outs the final season Promoter Kevin Dawson, owner of Lake Geneva Raceway stated that Friday night September 8th. will be added to the 2006 schedule.

“There are some real tight points battles in many divisions and winning the championship on the track would be more exciting than another rain out” said Dawson. Right now the bandoleros, legends, LGR late models, BIC cars and weapons are all in a close race for the their titles. The rascal outlaw series has also been added to that program. ”We got to get ahold of their rep, but they stuffered too”, added Dawson.

Points leader are Kyle Palma of Delavan, in the INEX bandoleros,the defending champ. Ernie Schaal, Wauconda, Illinois in the Perfection Auto Body INEX legends. Sonny Schoffen of Crystal Lake, IL. in the LGR late models. Steve Doherty, Rockford,IL. in the Basic International cars and Andy Krueger from Lake Geneva in the weapons. Jeff LeSage of Elgin,IL. holds a very slim lead in the rascal outlaw series.

The time trials remain at 6pm.racing at 7:30 pm. The will be no increase in admission prices for the spectators. Children under 8 are still free with an adult admission purchase.
