Bill Prietzel (#5) held off John Wood (#72) and Tom McClintock (#40) on a restart to win the Wisconsin Super Truck feature.

The 30 lap championship race started off with Fred Boal ahead of Jeremy Olson, Kyle Shear and Andrew Kulka. Olson was having handling problems dropping to the rear of the field, before retiring early. Kulka moved in on the leader, then until lap eight when the lead changed. At lap ten Adam Mass, Kenny Smart and Shear Jr. were putting the pressure on Boal for second.Mass was the first to make the pass, before the first Yellow Book USA caution period when James Swan and Cliff Adee tangled. One lap later the final caution came when Troy Shear Jr. spun. This was all Kenny Smart needed as he picked the correct lane for the restarts. With the green displayed Smart cruised out front with Mass second until lap twenty four, when Jeremy Bloomberg moved into second. The field remained tight for the remainder of the race, with the exception of Smart who was in firm command of the lead and his second win of the season. Kenny Joosten the 2005 champion nipped Bloomberg for second. John John Janssen was fourth, Denny Norton Jr. was fifth and Erik Pierce
the 2006 champion was sixth, in a real good race.

Wayne Freimund grabbed the lead at the off set of the super late model feature. Terry Patnode slipped into second, with Jamie Wallace, Matt Kocourek and Jason Hicks, very tight For the next seven laps Patnode and Kocourek diced for second, two laps later the first caution came for a spin by Patnode who collected Randy Rodgers the fast qualifier and Landry Potter. On the restart Kocourek marched in front, with Eddie May now second. Jerry Cowan, got by Freimund with Earl Counter next. Sonny Schoffen brought out the next caution when he spun. Kocourek maintained the lead with May trying to get by. Midway nothing changed except Counter was now fourth. It took May until lap thirty three before he caught and one lap later there was a new leader, that went on to win the race over Kocourek, Cowan, Freimund and Mike Meyerhofer crossed next in a dead heat and near photo finish for fourth. Counter was in the mix for sixth.

Nathan Matz in the Brian Oaks race car shot out front of the super stock field with rookies Cody Potter and Tyler Peterson who both wanted second. John Maki Jr. was in the Craig Mertes car holding onto fourth. Just after lap one was completed. Jack Rubach had something let loose in his mount, causing the caution to come out, as second in points driver sat stalled on the corner of turn one. Back in high gear, Matz was still the leader, with Peterson and Maki side by side for second before they tangled on lap seven for the final caution. Now Tom Jastrab was second as the green was again displayed. One lap later there was a new leader, as Adam Regnier slipped past Matz, as did Scott Norton one lap later. Then Bob Moeller, Joe DeCubellis and Dave Edwards got around Tom Roney who had problems. Before Jastrab took the win, rookie Sam Redman got past fast timer Edwards. At the checkered Jastrab easily won the race, with Regnier second, Norton was a close third, with DeCubellis fourth, Redman fifth and Edwards.

This coming Saturday night marks championship races for two more divisions. The super late models pit Eddie May against Landry Potter for the final title. In the super stocks, Adam Regnier of Twin Lakes is the points leader, with second generation driver Scott Norton of Wonder Lake, IL. in second place and former champion Jack Rubach of Burlington in third for a three way battle for the crown.

On the printed schedule from the beginning of the season, the INEX bandolero and Perfection Auto Body INEX legends were to hold their championships this night too. But due to five rain outs on their regular Friday night program, they will race
for nationwide INEX points along with the raceway points, but the championship will now be part of the Quality Auto and Truck Repair of Kenosha and Bilderback Auto Parts of South Beloit,IL. small car world championships on the 29th. of this
month.
