Rules Meetings Next at LGR!

October 14, 2004; Lake Geneva, WI. - With most of the 2004 season behind us, Lake Geneva Raceway has scheduled the rules meeting for the regular divisions that will race here during the 2005 season.

On Tuesday night October 19th. at 7pm. the millennium late models will meet at Low Places Saloon next door to the raceway. On Tuesday night October 26th. the super late model will meet at 7pm. Then on Sunday October 31st. at 11am. the sportsman will meet and at 1 pm. the Basic International will get together. The super stocks had their meeting on October 12th.Rule books should be ready by December 10th.

The 2005 season will begin on Saturday night April 2nd. with three divisions of action. The BARS “let’s go racing”auto show will be March 19th.20th. and 21st. at the Original outlet mall on I-94 and Highway 50, just 5 miles west of Kenosha,in Bristol.

All types of race cars compete in this free to the entry and spectator show .Some 10,000 people will come to the mall that weekend.Call Mike Babicz at 847-855-0019 for more information about this show and how to enter.

Oval track shows remaining on the 2004 schedule include the Midwest Enduro stock cars series in the original “Goblin 250” on Saturday October 23rd. at 2:30 pm. Then the season finale on Saturday October 30th. at 4 pm.as the Great Lakes Challenge series show will be for the small car enduro group and the heavy metal enduro. This show is in the memory of Mark”Tiny”Amborn.
