Jason Muelmans RJ Drywalling Small Car Enduro Winner! By Dale R. Erdmann

May 16, 2004; Lake Geneva, WI. -  It was a beautiful afternoon in Southeastern Wissconsin as Lake Geneva Raceway hosted the 3rd. small car enduro sponsored by RJ Dry-walling of Delavan.The 25 lap event was won by Jason Muelmans out of Kaukauna a second generation driver. After the race Muelmans said ”I used this car all winter to drive everywhere, it great to win this event and thanks to Kevin Rogers for the $1500 for the win.”

The race saw only a few caution laps and just over half the field running at the
end of the event.Second place went to Rod Brossart a regular BIC comptitor here as the Fox Lake, Illinois driver was down one lap to the winner. The team of Dennis Carlton and Jason Spittle from Trevor claimed third.

Rounding out the top ten were Tim Dubinsky of Lake Geneva, Frank Calabrese from Shiocton, Mike Haugan out of Beloit, Jason Smith of Trevor, Nick Nolden from Lodi ,Jason Kraft of Delavan and Adam Nolden of Lodi.

The next Great Lakes enduro series event will be July 11th. at Lake Geneva Raceway with the first ever “heavy metal” enduro. This will be open to SUV’s Full size pick up’s trucks, family vans and other type vehicles. Call promoter Kevin Rogers after 6 pm. at 262-728-6240 for more information.
