Scott Baker was best in the Wisconsin Sport Truck feature October 3rd at LGRıs October Classic.

17 year old rookie Jacob Humphrey moved in front of the twenty four car field at the drop of the double greens in the super late model feature. Another rookie Jeff Holmgren, Russ Blakeley, Jeff Storm and Brad Mueller were next. By lap five Storm had crept into second, with Mueller and Landry Potter very close. On lap fifteen Conrad Morgan and Brandon Hill tangled bringing out the first Yellow Book USA caution period. Humphrey marched right out front with Potter, Mueller, Jamie Wallace and Nathan Haseleu getting around Storm on the restart. By lap twenty nine Haseleu had worked on Mueller for the last eight laps and moved past him at that point. From lap thirty one until thirty six, Potter would dice with Humphrey for the lead.

Only lap thirty two would see a lead change, but then Humphrey came right back in front before the lap was completed. On lap thirty seven, Haseleu inched into second, with Wallace right on his tail. Erik Darnell moved under Potter one lap later, as the winner of the first last chance race Matt Kocourek got by Mueller on lap forty. At the top things were getting crowded by lap forty two, as the top six were under a blanket for the lead. On lap forty four Jamie Iverson spun and the intense pace would come to a halt, two laps later Brian Johnson Jr.and Donovan Morgan made contact and after the tire smoke cleared Johnson was sitting at the end of turn four facing the infield.

With the next green out, Humphrey again charged in front, but on lap fifty, Haseleu moved inside the leader, but there would be no lead change. The next few laps saw a lot of shuffling for positions as Jamie Wallace who was third moved past Haseleu and lap fifty six, there would be a new leader. Then Darnell got around Haseleu, with Humphrey now feeling the presence of Wayne Freimund and Kocourek. For the last fifteen laps Darnell put the pressure on and further back Humphrey and Freimund side by side fight for the fourth position, left Kocourek who had moved the furthest through the field at a stand still until the white flag came out. At the checkered Wallace was the clear winner, with Darnell ,Haseleu, Kocourek who diced with Humphrey and Freimund those last two laps managed a fourth. Humphrey staying just in front of Freimund who nipped Mueller for sixth in a very good race.

Kyle Prestay slipped in front of the street stock feature with visiting Terry Wangsness, Ken Eisbrenner, Adam Mass and Ken Calhoun next. By lap six Mass had worked his way to second and two lap later after a good battle for the position there would be a lead change .Tom Roney scooted into second, with Bob Moeller now on the former leaders bumper. Shane Sapp, fast qualifier Mike Gunderson were extremely close. Mass never looked back as he breezed to a four car length win over Roney, Moeller, Gunderson, John Janssen racing double duty was right along side in fifth and Sapp inches back in sixth.

The green flag had just come out in the limited late model feature when Sonny Schoffen and Lenny Gallenberg got out of wack, causing a complete restart. Paul Dygon jumped in front, with Rick Roulette, Steve Maciosek, Kenny Joosten and Nick Quinnell in tow. Lap four another slowdown came as Gallenberg and Quinnell tangled. As the green reappeared Maciosek moved in on Dygon but the leader would have none of that. On lap lap Joosten out slicked the drivers in front of him and Dygon received new pressure, then five laps later the lead changed as Joosten moved in front. Quickly Keith Tolf followed the new leader as Brian Ulrich the 2004 champion and Schoffen were on the move. Midway the top seven were very close and only two lapped cars  were in the field. On lap twenty eight Tolf took over the lead, but that was short lived as Schoffen slipped into second and then on lap number thirty three Schoffen took   over the front spot and went on to victory, despite two more cautions. One for Brad Kossow stalling and the second for a spun car. Ulrich was second, with Tolf, fast timer Bill Hobson, Dygon and rookie 16 year old Josh Wallace, a third generation driver next.

Brandon Riedner led the first two laps of the short field of super street stock cars before John Janssen took over the front position. Lyle Messinger was now third with fastest qualifier Pat Loppnow next. The event got to lap eleven before the first of two cautions would appear. Jeremy Hayden stalled, then four laps later Janssen and Loppnow got together for the final slowdown.Messinger held on for the win, as Cliff Rucks was second, Janssen recovered for third, with Reidner, Loppnow and Skip Hock rounding out the top six for the 20 lap event. Even thou the field was not full, the purse was paid as a based on twenty four count.

The Midwest modified feature saw Dave Grenlund lead the first lap before Eddie Bentfield move in after for the next three laps. On lap four Chuck Rein moved in front with the caution next for a Bill Tandetzke and Brian Holtz get together slowing the action with the only caution of the 25 lap contest. On the next green Rein had Wes Biswell all over him. By lap twelve fast timer Dale Prunty was now third, with Bentfield feeling the pressure from Russ Moberly. With just six laps to go Biswell who had taken all the heat from Prunty those last eight laps lost second to him. One lap later Rein and Prunty raced side by side for one lap before the lead changed and Prunty went on to win the race. Rein held on to second, with Biswell holding back a
recovered Holtz who was fourth. Ron Schmitt was fifth with Bentfield sixth.

It looked like fast qualifier Kyle Quella would pick up his first feature here, but as Scott Baker was racing with him, contact was made as Baker went on to victory in the Wisconsin mini sport trucks feature for 20 laps. Jeff VanHandle was second,
Mark Ziegelbauer third, Jeff Lookes fourth, Dustin Jaloszynski fifth and Quella managed to hang on to sixth. with handling problems after that incident.

It took Bob Koch just six laps to top the field of twenty four pure stocks after JoeMisteita led the first three laps, before Bill Lasiniecki held on until lap four and then Roger Schultz led lap five. The non stop race saw Kock move way out front with Todd Miller the 2004 champion second, Marty Butler was next, as Brian Bottlemy in his first appearance of the season was fourth.John Greene was fifth and Schultz held on to sixth for the final race of the afternoon.
