Ken Jones won Friday's mini-cup headliner at Lake Geneva.

Lenny Adams from Crystal Lake,IL. won his second Rolling services Basic International feature of the season.Michael Bilderback of South Beloit,IL. had a near perfect night in the Bandana Bandito bandolero cars, as the point leader just missed a clean sweep. as he won the heat and the 10 lap feature. Ken Jones nipped fast timer Jeff  Meyers in the super mini cup 12 lap feature, for the win.Kip Novotny of   Johnsburg,IL. just missed a clean sweep in the Rascal Outlaws, taking fast time and easily running away with the 20 lap feature and Tom Ross of Northbrook,IL. won the Vazcom Communications Midwest sport truck 15 lap feature.

Rookie drivers Ryan Walsh and Paul Edmundson fought for the lead at the drop of the green in the millennium late model feature.Paul Loppnow and Brad Kossow were right on their bumpers, with three more rookies Ralph Gentile Bill Hobson and Josh Wallace in hot pursuit.Walsh was always ahead at the line for the first seven laps, before Loppnow crept in front for the next two go rounds. Walsh came back for two more before the first Yellow Book USA caution point ensued ,for a Keith Tolf  spin in turn two.

Loppnow charged in front as the green came back out, this continued throughout the event, as they diced for the top spot. On the white flag lap, coming for the  checkered Walsh spun, backing across the line, race cars shattered everywhere, with Loppnow crossing the line first, Sonny Schoffen was second, point leader Brian Ulrich third, Walsh fourth, Paul Dygon and Tolf were next in this melee. Loppnow did not pass the post race inspection, giving the win to Schoffen and moving everyone up and Bill Hobson was now sixth.

The legend feature was side by side excitement as Garrett Will moved off the pole into the lead with Clayton Kruse and Michael Bilderback all over the leader. Nick Shutkas was challenging Bilderback who suddenly headed to the pits with a
broken axle.Steve Licht moved into that position, with Lyle Kuklinski next.

Rob Duffek spun on lap sixteen for the only caution of the event. That set up a run for second,as Will walked the field one more time, with the win.Kruse was second, with Larry Will next. With his fast time, fourth in the dash and fourth in the
feature, Curt Gnatzig is the new point leader, defending champion Licht was fifth and Shutkas rounding out the top six.

The bandolero feature got off to a rocky start,as first nighter Mickey Kudlicki spun before a lap could be completed. There was no caution and Kudlicki was nearly one lap down and headed to the pits after receiving a black flag for a gesture as he went past the starter, ending his night.Michael Cooter moved in front of the field, with Bobby Yonkee and fast qualifier Kyle LaPier in tight formation.LaPier quickly moved into second, then a lap seven incident brought out the caution, when Yonkee spun.

Cooter’s car went flat on the restart and Michael Bilderback flew into the lead and despite numerous challenges from LaPier, that was the way they finished Kyle Jusits was third, with Yonkee next. Cooter was fifth.
