Vincent Merry drove to victory in the sport truck feature race Saturday at Lake Geneva Raceway.

Terry Patnode moved in front of the super late model field with Earl Counter,
Landry Potter, Jacob Humphrey and Jeff Holmgren Jr. next. By lap ten, Potter had worked his way into second, with Rick Corso, Counter and Humphrey trying to move up. Nothing changed until lap twenty three, as the first Yellow Book USA caution appeared for a Jamie Wallace and Joe Fischer get together.

On the restart Patnode drove right back into the lead, with Potter, Corso and Humphrey in a tight formation. Counter and Shane Bishop tangled on lap twenty seven, sending Bishop high onto the fence, before coming to rest off of turn three.
no one was hurt, but both drivers night was over. On the restart Potter out ran Patnode to the corner and there was a new leader. This on lasted four laps when Potter’s mount went flat and Patnode regained the lead.

Eight laps later Patnode was going into turn two as contact was made with Corso sending the leader around. Randy Rodgers running with the group was involved, the caution came out and everyone went to the rear. Kent Burkoth became the leader, with Matt Kocourek who started dead last on the original start, now second.

The final ten laps were exciting, as Burkoth pulled off the win, as Kocourek tried everything in the book to gain the top spot, but finished second. Jason Hicks nipped Humphrey for third, with Brandon Hill and Wayne Freimund rounding out the top six.

The super stock feature was a tussle for the lead as Craig Mertes and Tom Fay the first lap leader dueled for the top spot.Mertes moved in front the next lap, with Fay, Trevor Mock ,Ken Eisbrenner and Shane Sapp next. Fay dropped out
for unknown reasons on lap eight, just as Eisbrenner took the lead, with Sapp following the new leader.

The next eight laps were a see/saw battle for the top spot, as Sapp and Eisbrenner put on a show. With four laps to go John Janssen somehow grabbed the lead and scored the victory four laps later. Eisbrenner was second, with Sapp
third,Bob Moeller next and Mike Gunderson along side and Adam Mass.

Rookie driver Jack Clark charged in front of the sportsman main event, with a caution appearing on lap two.The restart saw Clark back out front with Ken Smart, Jamie Dorsey and Curt Thompson next. Dorsey moved in front on lap seven and on lap eleven Clark spun, but the race continued, as things were getting tight at the front.

Starter Dave Rex Jr. warned Thompson about his run line for four laps before giving him the black flag while he was running third. It took a caution flag to get Thompson off the track and Jeremy Bloomberg had just taken over the lead. Fifth place Danny Powell began to smoke bad and dropped out one lap later. Jeremy Miller caught Bloomberg on lap nineteen and they ran side by side until lap twenty four when Miller inched ahead and went on to win the race. Bloomberg was second, with Dorsey, Kenny Joosten, Smart and Gary Norton completing the top six.
