July 3, 2004; Lake Geneva, WI. -.With a large field of legend cars from all around the Midwest along with bandolero cars, super stocks and super late models, heavy rain wiped out what could have been a great race program,sponsored by Speedway Auto Mall from Machesney Park, Illinois, at Lake Geneva Raceway, Saturday night.

“We have to talk to INEX,for the rescheduling of this important event”said Promoter Kevin Dawson, at the press conference. Dates being concerned are August 14th.21st. and September 4th.

Doug Rose and his Green Mamba jet dragster will be here on the September date. Being Labor day weekend could be a plus for the race fans visiting this area.

This Saturday night, marks the midseason championships. The super late models, super stocks, sportsman and the millennium late models will all be on the same card.

Time trials will be at 5:45 pm with racing at 7pm.There will be no increase in admission prices.
