Powersource Racing Engines will be donating a new Chevrolet short block to the series that will be given away to a lucky competitor of the MSCS. "Powersource is known for building some of the most competitive and reliable engines in the Midwest and the MSCS is very proud to have them on board this year as a series sponsor" says Eric Dawson, LGR Competition Director. "This is a fantastic addition to the already impressive purse for our new series," added Dawson. The engine will be given away by random drawing at the annual, Lake Geneva Raceway, Fall Classic this September. To be eligible for the drawing a driver must have competed in all eight series events at Lake Geneva Raceway, Slinger Speedway and Rockford Speedway. Must also have qualified for year-end awards at either LGR or Slinger and display the Powersource Racing Engines contingency decal in a prominent location on both sides of their racecar at all MSCS events. Contingency decals will be available at the first MSCS race on April 5th at the Lake Geneva Raceway. Team must also be present at the LGR Fall Classic to win. In addition to the Powersource Racing Engines contingency all Lake Geneva Raceway Sportsman drivers will also be eligible for the Fivestar Fabrication contingency award which consists of half off a Fivestar Sportsman body, Package A, which has a retail value of over $500. Team must display a Fivestar contingency decal and must qualify for year ends awards to be eligible. This award will be given away by random drawing at the LGR awards Banquet.
