LGR Gearing Up for 38th Season!  BARS Show Next!

March 7, 2003; Lake Geneva, WI. With stock car racing less than 1 month away the first snow of the winter season fell on Southeast Wisconsin this past Monday. But on  Friday March 28th. many of Lake Geneva Raceway’s race cars will be at the 26th. Annual BARS “let’s go racing” show at the Original Outlet Mall near Kenosha on I 94 and Highway 50.

Because the raceway will have a practice weekend the 29th. and 30th. a special “freebe” practice Wednesday March 26th. just for the drivers who will be in the show.This way their inspection is out of the way and they can get some track time in.

The 2003 season opener will be Saturday night April 5th. as the oval track comes alive for the 38th. season of racing. Featured divisions include the weekly Budweiser Super late models and McHenry Limousine super stocks also on the card will be the Anchor towing Basic International cars and the sport trucks.

Anyone who still wants to enter the race show on March 28th. through the 30th.
