Sportsman Championship Saturday at LGR
Along With Fall Classic!

September 25, 2003; Lake Geneva, WI - In just a few short days the largest race program in the country comes to Lake Geneva Raceway in Lake Geneva,Wisconsin. Starting on Saturday September 27th. the 13th. annual O’Doul’s fall classic will begin with time trials at 2 pm. Then at 6 pm. the race program gets started.

But because of a rain out September 13th. the Performance Unlimited sportsman a regular division that competes here during the season will hold it’s championship race. This will be a bonus for the visiting race fans. Drivers who have competed in 75% of all completed shows will race in this special feature.Gary LaMonte of West Allis is the current point leader with Jeremy Miller of Rockton,Illinois, Denny Norton Jr. of McHenry,IL. and Jeremy Bloomberg of Hamphire,IL. all looking at the top
spot.

Also on this program will be world championship one on one spectator drags. A minimum of at least $200 to win with second taking $100.The 66%,33% style pay out will be used. Any street legal, licensed and have DOT tires.

The only division to compete in two separate shows will be the Wisconsin Mini sport trucks on Saturday and Sunday .The other 7 divisions will have heats on Saturday. Sunday will be the afternoon of features starting at 1 pm. The super late models, Performance Unlimited limited late models, Burlington Glass and radiator street stocks, McHenry Limousine super street stocks,Midwest enduro cars, pure stocks, for the first time in three years Midwest modifieds and the Yellow pages mid American series will all compete.

A fan friendly weekend pass is available with adults only $25. Junoirs will be $12 and children under 8 are free with an adult purchase. The weekend pass gives a fan Friday night at no charge and an additional 15% savings on the Saturday and Sunday show. Nightly tickets are also available starting at 11am. both Saturday and Sunday.
