Many time Lake Geneva track champion
Al Schill Sr. (#14) has a knack for finding victory lane on opening night in Late Model action.

This season looks like a real competitive one for this class of race cars. Second year drive Jamie Artelt who took fast time during last years opener, told us at the Bars show, he learned alot from guys like Schill, Danny Darnell and Joe Fischer. Fischer actually raced the car one night to find out would make the car work. Artelt said,"Taking fast time the first time out wasn't what I should have done". "This made us with no place to go and we suffered with classis problems until late in the season".

In the McHenry Limo super stocks, Adam Regnier has won the last three features for opening night racing. But the Peterson brothers, Doug and Greg, along with Al Kuphal all want to be in front that first night. The Peterson's shared an honorable mention award during the BARS show. Kuphal is also a top Midwest Enduro Stock car series runner. Second year drivers Adam Szymanskyj, Jack Rubach, Mike Bell, and Scott Scholl could also be in the hunt for the crown.

The Performance unlimited sportsman and the sideline motorsport sport trucks will also be on the card.

Time trials will begin at 6 pm. racing at 7:30 sharp. Many of the tracks are going to a 7 pm. starting time, but Kevin Dawson owner and Promoter of the raceway feels we run off a quick show most nights and by 10:30 pm families are on their way home. The raceway is a one third mile progressively banked paved oval track. Located less than one hour from Madison, Rockford, Milwaukee and Chicago, the track is located just three minutes from downtown Lake Geneva, Wisconsin on Bloomfield Road.
