August 25, 2001; Lake Geneva, WI. - For the first time since May 26th. Rain washed out the Saturday night race program at Lake Geneva Raceway. Rain came at 6 p.m. and after a lot of work by track officials and the race drivers the track was dried and the first super late model heats rolled on the track at 7:50 pm. Jamie Artelt won the event and then heavy rain washed out the remainder of the program. The trailer race is rescheduled for Saturday night September 8th.

This coming Saturday the Gauntlet race will be as Burlington Camper and travel along with Maki Construction Company will sponsor the program. The sportsman will join the super late models and super stocks.

On Monday September 3rd. the Klements Sausage Company will present the 301 lap Midwest Enduro stock car series program at 1:15 pm. Before the show their will be a coin grab at 12:45 pm. The BIC cars that race on Friday nights will have a mini enduro 1pm. At 12:30 p.m. there will be a celebrity race. Gates open at 11am.
