Chris Carlson (#24) won the Outlaw Rascal main event in convincing fashion.

Chris Carlson ran away from the field in the 20 lap Rascal Outlaw feature and Willy Webb of Sharon won the 20 lap Basic International feature after coming through the second semi with a field of near 50 cars on hand.

Jeff Schultz slipped in front of the mini modified feature with Jay Harpster all over the leader. By lap four it was a side by side dice for the top spot. For the next seven laps the race was for the top spot with Ken Johnson and Mike Von Houton just looking for a weak spot in the link. As the field tightened Harspter finally secured the lead on lap twelve with new comer Joe Manninello getting lapped as half the field passed him by.

With this happening Harspter now had Johnson at his right side. Joining the fight at the top Glen Verneeze got under Schultz with three laps to go. The crowd went wild as the white flag was displayed. It was anyone’s race but the three time champion showed what he was made of, nipping Harspter and Verneeze at the wire.Joe Miller was fourth with Schultz and Duck Wack completing the top six in a close contest that ran non stop.

The BIC feature got off to a rocky start with an incident between Dennis Estes,Dan Craig and Brian Bottlemy causing a complete restart.Joe Polera darted in front again and held the lead until lap five when Tom Benedetti slipped in front. Just after the half way Mark Wild Willy Webb charged into the lead with the field spreading out behind the new leader.

Polera would have held onto second but coming into two the runner up spun. The last five laps saw lapped traffic a big factor. Webb held on for the win, with Jeff Baum, Bob Koch the defending champion of this growing division. Todd Booker was fourth and Rob Scheibel fifth.
