First No Bull Special on tap at Lake Geneva Raceway!

June 1, 2001; Lake Geneva, WI. A new conception for a special during the season of a weekly race program has been born.  This Saturday night  June 9th. Lake Geneva Raceway will host the first of three specials for area super   late model drivers. Five Star Stock Car Bodies the series sponsor presents the No Bull Triple Crown Series. There will be  $1000 going to the winner of the 50 lap feature race. There will be no increase in the price of a pit pass, no entry fees ,no special deals , no hired guns and no bull.  

The top sixteen in qualifying  and the top four from the semi feature will start the feature. The two tire rule will be effect for all three events. The second will be August 11th. and  the 18th. Visiting drivers should branded tires or legitimately used   tires with them. Weight must be 2775 58/42 with 9:1 motors and an added 25 pounds for a 4 barrel. Drivers from Grundy and Slinger are expected to be here to challenge the LGR regulars. "We hope other area drivers show up for this event , because the over all point getter for the series will receive $500 for their efforts with $300 and $200 going to second and third respectively" stated Kevin Dawson the Promoter.

Kunes Country Ford out of Delavan is the nights sponsor June 9th. " This should be a fun no pressure series, just like the October Classic is to everyone else, as the visitors try to out do the regulars" added Dawson.Time trials begin at 6 pm. racing at 7:30 sharp.
