two, Rain the winner! NASCAR weekend next at LGR! Next Friday night June 30th. The regular weekly show will run. The super late models, super stocks, Wisconsin Allison Legacy cars and sportsman cars will be on the card. On Saturday night July 1st. NASCAR comes to Wisconsin, with the annual RE/MAX Challenge race series show. Because of the schedule, some new drivers will be here, giving race fans the toughest field, since the ARTGO series back afew years ago. Entered are ASA driver Scott Wimmer, who has won two races this season with the American Speed Association. Scott Hanson, Brian Hoppe and Paul Menard are also coming. Al Schill, the defending champion at the raceway, is entered. Schill is the father of the late Al Schill Jr. in which this race is named. Steve Carlson won last years race for 125 laps. This year the race has been extended to 150 laps. The McLeod USA Mid American super trucks make their first appearance of the year, as the second division for this program. Doug Rose and his 300 mile per hour Green Mamba jet dragster will perform each night, with his car meltdowns. Advance tickets for both nights for spectators will be on sale at the raceway all week and Friday night, the tickets are only $20 for adults and juniors at just $10.
