NO BULL RAIN OUT SCHUDULED FOR MAY 15th

Well mother nature sometimes sure doesn’t like racing, especially in the spring. The first No Bull Super Late Model special was rained out on Saturday, April 24th. There was a great field of cars present and ready to go racing. We did manage to get some hot laps in but right around 6:pm the rain came and didn’t let up until Sunday morning. So the rain date for the first no bull is set for May 15th.

Your pit passes will be valid for that date just give them to the gate person and sign in again and you are good to go.

NEW PRACTICE HOURS SET

TO BEGIN ON APRIL 20TH & 21ST

Starting on April 20th we are adding Tuesday’s just for the small cars. Wednesday’s will still be practice for all the FULL SIZE RACE CARS. i.e: Super Lates, Sportsman, Super Stocks, BIC”S, Limited Late Models, Modifieds, etc.

The small car open practice day is every Tuesday starting on April 20th. This day is open for all SMALL Race Cars. I.e.: Go Karts, Legends, Bandolero, Super Mini Cups, Rascal’s, FIRA, Mini Mods, WALS etc.

The open practice hours on either day is from 2pm till dusk or 8pm which ever comes first. NO LATER. This should end the confusion to what practices when and allow the small cars more practice time of their own.

FIRST TRAILER RACE SET FOR MAY 29th

AND BE IN THE MOVIES

This event has turned into one of our biggest nights of the year. For this reason the producers of the movie “Four Bangers” have decided to produce another movie on the Trailer Races at the Lake Geneva Raceway. If you ever wanted to be in the movies get your trailers ready and show up for the first race on May 29th.

Everyone is invited to come and participate. For this one all you need is a car and a trailer with something on it. We have had outhouses, snowmobiles, lawnmowers, campers and my personal favorite, boats on your trailer. The car or truck can be anything you have that you don’t need for the next day. There are some safety issues that need to be addressed but you can call the raceway office for the rules.__________________________________________________________________

FIRST SCHOOL BUS RACE OF THE SEASON

Mark your calendars for May 8th. Our wild and crazy stunt team will be at it for the first of two school bus races of the season. If you’ve never seen a “SCHOOL BUS”, you don’t know what you’ve been missing.

Lets see how can I describe this. Well first you’ve got to find 6 of the craziest people, which at the Lake Geneva Raceway is not a problem. Our head Stunt team driver many of you know as ”HEFFER” leads the team on the oval with full size retired school buses and they race on the 1/3 mile track or maybe I should say try to race on the 1/3 mile oval. There is always a surprise or two along the way.

You just got to see it to believe it, so just be here!!!!!

SPECTATOR ONE ON ONES

On May 22nd will be the spectator’s time to participate. This is a little bit different type of racing. Anyone is allowed to race in the one on ones. Bring whatever you would like, whether it’s your Dad’s vette or Mom’s station wagon, or just your everyday pick up truck or family van. We don’t care. You are pitched against other cars in your category for the first of the elimination rounds. As we get down to the two finalist it will be the best 2 of 3 finishes that will determine the winner of the Spectators one on ones.

SEMI TRUCK ONE ON ONES

Also on May 22nd the crazy stunt team is back for the stunt of the week. This is a first for us. Semi Truck one on ones. It will be run the same way as the spectators. No trailers though, just the cabs boys.

LUISA’S PIZZA FROM SALEM, WISCONSIN

SPONSORS THE MINI MODS

Luisa’s pizza has announced that they are sponsoring the Friday night Mini Mod class.

Luisa’s is located on Hwy 50 and 317th Ave. in Salem, Wisconsin with a second location in Delavan on Hwy 50.

Speaking from personal experience this is the best pizza and Italian food in the area. They also have carryout and delivery available. The casual atmosphere in the restaurant and bar, yes they have a bar also, is very comfortable. The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient. However, if you get brave and order the stuffed pizza allow for extra time because this baby takes a long time to cook and you will be in awe as to the size when it arrives at your table.

Luisa’s phone number is 262-537-4795 in Salem and 262-740-1610 in Delavan.

ROLLING SERVICES IS THE NEW BIC SPONSOR
